About Me
Amelie is a 5 months old adorable and playful kitty.
She was found on the street 3 months ago, visibly affected by what we can assume to be either an untreated infection as a tiny kitten or an injury that left her vision considerably affected.
Doctors have done all they can to restore her sight fully, both eyes have ulcers, retinal detachment, third eyelid is fixed on half of the eyeball, but the baby sees decently well now and does not seem to have a problem having this condition.
The only thing needed for her care is eyedrops to prevent the eye damage from advancing and of course the yearly checkup that is advised for all fur babies.
Amelie’s eyes might look different, but she’s a gorgeous kitten who cannot take her paws off people, she nicely demands attention and cuddles, she loves to give kisses on the face, to rest or fall asleep on her human’s chest or neck and expresses her love and gratitude in the sweetest way, she cleans her human’s arms, she reaches for their face with her paw and begins to purr happy when she’s making eye contact.
She’s very friendly with other cats and dogs, very playful even by herself and finds something fun to do all the time.
No dull moments for her.
We’d love for Amelie to have a playmate in her new home, this bundle of joy engages easily in activities with any cat, either kitten or adult.
In relation to new people, Amelie needs a few days to settle in, once it’s clear she’s safe, she will be the one coming to you and from that moment on, be ready to be suffocated with affection because this baby doesn’t have any boundaries or sense of personal space when it comes to cuddle time.
