Warning! Graphic images and heartbreaking video!

What I am about to show and describe is not easy to handle, so I must start with the warning that this is emotionally disturbing.

But this is MY REALITY. One that I can’t ignore, because if I do, they die in horrible suffering, because others can ignore them and do so!

Two days ago, I got a message signaling a case of a street cat that had been hit by a car.

Although our vet debts are skyrocketing, I sent the cat as an emergency to our vets and when I received the pre-operatory video I thanked God I replied to yet another message!

This is Skye. She had been roaming the streets of Romania with horrible infections in her eyes and mouth that had been infested by dozens of maggots. She was eaten alive by maggots, could barely see, could barely eat.

On top, the car accident has broken her jaw.
And she was just left to die.

Skye got emergency surgery to remove her left eye and the infected tissue in her mouth together with a few teeth and through a miracle she survived all this and is slowly, slowly recovering at the vet clinic, on IV therapy to sustain her as she’s yet unable to feed herself or even swallow.

Now the second part comes. Her broken jaw needs x-rays and a specialist vet to perfom a second surgery to mend her jaw. For this we have to take her to Bucharest on a 4 hours one-way trip so she can be consulted and admitted at the orthopedic clinic there, the same clinic that did spinal surgery on our Josie and hip surgery on our Prince.

And this is where you come in! We need your support to raise the remaining £300 so Skye can get the rest of the medical attention she needs so she can finally have her life back!

This cat has no one but us!

Please don’t join the passerby that ignored her all her life and PLEASE join us in changing another life!

We need 300 members of this group to donate only £1 and Skye can get the help she needs! I want to believe that it is possible!

If you can and wish to help Skye,
our paypal is: [email protected]

Thank you so much to the wonderful Debbie Mowl and the members of her groups who raised the money to cover Skye’s first bill for the emergency medical help she got here in Tulcea!

Let’s all come together to get Skye the second surgery she needs and I promise you, you will see her soon enough as “Ready for adoption” and we will make sure she gets the most amazing family there is! She has suffered enough!
