 Love Bug Cecilia: A Special Baby in Need of a Special Home 

Meet Cecilia, a beautiful blind snow-white kitty also known as the love bug fluff. 

 Her story:
Cecilia was found wandering the streets, sightless and alone. She must have lost her sight due to an untreated past infection when she was a small kitten, as it sadly so often happens when they have no one to care for them.

Without the ability to see, she had a hard time finding food or water, and no way to defend herself against the dangers of the outside world. Every day was a struggle for survival, and her chances of making it on her own were slim to none.

In a dramatic turn of fate, our vet found her just in time. She was weak, disoriented, and desperately in need of help. She scooped her up and brought her to safety, where she’s been getting the care and love she needed to recover.

Unfortunately, her health check revealed that she is almost deaf to, estimated to hear at approx 25%. Hearing impairment is quite common in white cats and it makes it even clearer that she had no chances out there by herself. 

Cecilia’s blindness and hearing disability make her unique and it certainly doesn’t stop her from being a wonderful companion or a playful kitten.
She’s incredibly affectionate, loves to play too and will fill your home with love and joy.

Her disability doesn’t stop her from being a proper kitty, doing all the usual cat routines. In a safe indoor environment, Cecilia navigates perfectly well, guiding herself by vibrations and smell and does not need special assistance.
A catio or a cat-proofed balcony or garden would make her very happy too, so that is a plus but not a must.

Cecilia may not see with her eyes, but she sees with her heart. She may not hear well with her ears, but she listens with her soul. She’s super loving, gentle (but nipping playfully when she gets excited), and craves human affection.

This brave little girl has overcome so much and is now ready to bring joy and warmth to a furever home.
