Jessie and Eric, a pair of feline companions who have overcome adversity and are ready to embark on a new chapter of their lives together.

Jessie, an adorable bundle of fur, was discovered alongside her siblings on the streets, desperately seeking warmth and food. Speaking of food, although tiny, she eats like a horse and purrs only at the sight of food.

From the moment she was rescued, it was obvious that Jessie possessed an overflowing capacity for affection. She purrs loudly at the mere sight of her human companions and eagerly follows them throughout the house, offering her unconditional love and her invaluable help with the household chores.

She has formed a beautiful friendship in her foster home with Eric, a shy and extremely lovable boy who shares a similarly sad background.

Eric’s journey began on the streets, where he struggled to survive with very limited resources. Thankfully, a compassionate woman who worked at a nearby warehouse provided him with occasional food. However, fate had a different plan for Eric when he found himself trapped in a car engine, resulting in an injured leg. The kind-hearted woman sought assistance on his behalf, recognizing that she couldn’t provide the necessary care or a safe environment for him.
Luckily, his leg healed with the help of medical treatment, proving that Eric is a resilient fighter.

During Eric’s medical evaluation, it was discovered that he has a slight tracheal collapse, likely a congenital condition. Although it poses no immediate concern and doesn’t require intervention, it does result in a unique breathing and purring sound. This special characteristic only adds to Eric’s charm and makes him all the more endearing.

With his shy personality, Eric longs for a patient and experienced mum/dad who can help him rebuild his trust in humanity. Initially, he may seek solace in hiding, as he is still acclimatising to a life filled with compassion and care. Despite the hardships he endured on the streets, Eric is gradually learning to embrace playfulness and social interaction. After gaining his trust, he will happily receive head, back and belly rubs and you’ll know that he’s happy when his tail pops up.

Together, Eric and Jessie create a yin and yang dynamic that brings out the best in each other. Both furballs are gourmet cats, they share the same selective taste in wet food and cat soup, Eric enjoys his soup ritual every evening.
With her spirited nature and contagious zest for life, Jessie helps Eric come out of his shell and embrace the world around him. The way they complete each other is a testament to the healing power of love and companionship.
