Meowdy!

I’m Lisa (black and white) and this is my brother, Marzi (white and tabby). We’re both born in September 2022. We were found behind the dumpster by two cat lovers and we now have a wonderful temporary foster home.

Let me tell you some things about me and my brother.

We are foodies. We looove all sorts of food (even those we shouldn´t touch : bread, croissants, peanuts, popcorn) but our new favorite thing is raw meat – our humans gave us some raw gizzards and we went bananas.

Our second favorite thing to do is wait for the kitchen door to open and then burst in to find more food…we were pretty successful in the beginning, but now things are starting to get difficult… I think the humans are onto us.

They keep saying we are obsessed with food, but that’s because outside we weren’t sure when our next meal would come, so we had to eat as fast as we could.

When we’re not eating (not because we don’t want to, but because we have a feeding schedule–which sucks!) we like to play. Me and my brother wrestle a lot. We chase each other all over the apartment and sometimes the big grey cat joins us.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention him. He is the resident cat…he’s much older than us. We didn’t meet until we were vaccinated and dewormed, plus, the humans had to make sure they gave us the proper introduction. We like him a lot, that’s why we follow him everywhere and we like to playfully engage him. He was pretty grumpy at the beginning but he actually has a soft side too.

My absolute favorite thing to play with is my toy mouse. I could play with it for hours and never get bored.

Marzipan loves all kinds of balls: plastic balls, soft balls, balls with bells.

We also like when the humans play with us, especially with fishing rod toys.

As a girl, I’m very talkative. Some say I’m a drama queen, but I like to share my opinions, multiple times a day. I also act as an alarm clock, because I want to make sure the humans don’t forget to feed us in the morning.

My brother is the quiet one. He is also a momma’s boy. He adores to cuddle with his number one human, especially when she’s working from home. I caught him many times crying for pets and cuddles…he’s so spoiled.

We’d love to find a forever home together. We’re not perfect, but we are very loving and we would thrive in a loving home.
