Mara is a very special little girl. She came into our care after a good friend took her under his wing when she, a nobody’s kitten, got very ill with neuro FIP, a life threatening disease that she bravely defeated after a long treatment.
Our friend wanted her to be safe and to secure a perfect family for her after all that she’s been through, so she joined our The Great Catsby temp family until her real furever family comes along.

Mara is a miracle-kitten that never gave up in front of the challenges fate laid out for her so far. But her fate is about to change.
She has several issues to note, but she is also the sweetest child enjoying life to the fullest and bringing joy to anyone lucky enough to make her part of their family.

Although she is 1 year old, the ailments she had as a little girl affected her development so she is the size of a 5-6 months old kitten.

Little Mara was not born perfect to begin with, her spine is flawed, which we believe is the original cause of her being ataxic (this means she is having some mobility and orientation issues like walking wobbly or reacting a bit later to stimuli).
She is also incontinent and at the moment we are working out what the best care system is for her (she does need help to express her bladder and empty her bowels but she also uses the litterbox so with proper care we are hoping this will improve in time).

She loves all her delicious sachets of wetfood, this baby has a BIG appetite for food but also for fun!  Play play play all day long and cuddling humans is what she absolutely adores.
Purr-machine mode is easily activated with a mere look in her direction and be ready to be overwhelmed with love, as this little girl is nothing short of precious!

She is a kitty that we know many people will overlook but that a very special someone will take home, we are certain of that and she will get best care with us until then.

Mara will come home fully vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV / Felv and health checked.
