Sometimes the best cats find you. One of our volunteers had just popped out to buy some food when she spotted him — a handsome orange boy sitting right in front of the revolving door, as if waiting for someone.
And he was waiting. While we stood nearby watching, child after child stopped to pet him, and he welcomed every touch with gentle purrs. The adults, sadly, walked past as if he wasn’t even there. Eventually, a taxi driver came out, gave him some (human) crackers, and shared his story: TC had been living on the streets in that area for quite a while. Some people fed him here and there, but no one ever claimed him.
Until that moment.
A few cuddles, some lap time, a broken heart and a spontaneous (but right) decision later… he was scooped up, tested, neutered, and made safe. He tested FIV positive – but thankfully, otherwise healthy. If he had stayed on the streets, he may not have made it through another year. Now, he has a second chance – and he’s so ready to trade in his street days for couch naps, treats, and love.
Who is TC?
TC is a charming ginger gentleman with a heart as big as his head bumps. He’s: Super loving and affectionate
Sociable with people and animals after settling in
Good with other cats and even dogs (yes, really!)
A total cuddlebug – he adores snuggles and will happily warm your lap for longer than you may be able to sit still
Devastatingly handsome
Ready for a safe, happy, indoor life with a forever family
TC would love a catio or cat-proofed garden, so that would be a wonderful bonus, but not a mandatory requirement. But what about his FIV status?
We know FIV+ cats are often overlooked, but it’s time to bust the myths. TC can live a full, healthy life with: A safe indoor home (secure outdoor access to a catio or cat-proofed garden is a big plus)
Good-quality food
Regular checkups (like all pets need)
And lots of love
He can live with FIV-negative cats, too, as long as everyone is neutered and there’s no serious fighting. TC is a peaceful guy, so no worries there.
We are here to clarify all questions you may have on this matter. TC deserves more than street corners and crackers.
He deserves a warm lap, a forever home, and someone to love him the way he’s always loved everyone else. Can you be the happy ending he’s been waiting for?
TC will come home fully vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV / Felv and health checked.
