For years, our efforts have been dedicated to animals – not only within the limits of what a small organisation run by a handful of volunteers can reasonably manage, but far beyond what is sensible for our own peace of mind and health.

Alongside the daily work of sustaining the 180 rescued animals at The Great Catsby, we push forward with our prevention work.

On Friday, 2 October, we held the first of several spay and neuter days planned in Tulcea this month. With the support of the ROLDA Foundation, the sponsor of Friday’s event, and the medical team at DMA Vetland, 45 cats and dogs were spayed and neutered. Our heartfelt thanks go to the partners who made this possible!

This is just the beginning. Our target for October is to spay and neuter 300 animals in Tulcea.

Happy World Animal Day to all animals and to all the people who choose to stand beside those who cannot speak for themselves.
