Mya (FIV+)

About Me

Mya is a sweet girl that was brought together with her daughter Gracie during one of our spay campaigns.

Mya was born in September 2014, she is FIV+ and also had some additional health issues (that were treated in the meanwhile), we just couln’t release her back on the streets.

All these years she has faced the harsh conditions of many winters, has had to struggle to find food for her and her numerous litters, has had to avois the wheels of the cars and has never had anyone to care for her when she was sick, tired, scared, cold or hungry.

She, like any other fur baby, deserves a warm loving home, with a family to keep her safe, loved and well cared for.

Mya is a loving girl, she enjoys pettings, but she needs some time to settle in a new environment.

Mya also has one bad eye, most likely a result of an untreated past infection and she will ocasionally need maintenance eyedrops to help her keep comfortable x

She is doing very well in foster and is very happy and grateful for having been rescued.

Her health issues were treated when we took her in and her latest bloodwork is very decent for her age.

She will need and indoor only environment, good quality food, immunity supplements and of course regular checkups to make sure she is keeping well x

If there are other resident cats (ideally not more than 1-2 cats), she will needs her time to adjust, with slow introductions that are always the case when bringing in a new family member.
