When you have everything going for you, pleasant appearance, great health, lovely personality and yet, all odds against that.

This boy was brought to the clinic by his guardians with the trenchant and irrevocable decision to euthanize him because he doesn’t use the litter box, but goes on the floor or in the bathtub. According to them, they tried everything and failed.

Obviously, we can’t accept this, so we are now looking for a new home for him with a secured yard where he can go freely, without any fear that this will bring the end of his life.

Macchia is an adorable boy, very friendly with other cats, has not been tested with dogs, loves people and although he is a big and imposing tom in appearance, he is a big softy, who lets himself be easily handled, held, picked up, purrs loudly while he receives attention and strokes.

His approx date of birth is 15 February 2018.

It seems that the only thing standing against him is this little detail, he’s a free spirit who doesn’t want to be tied down to a litter box. He prefers a huge natural litter box, more his size and fresh air. Who are we to stand in the way of his wants and needs? The boy needs a secured yard and we won’t stop until we find him the perfect home.

Macchia needs a home with a catproofed garden or with a catio where he can safely go outside to do all his business.
